Welcome to my site, I am Gill Farley and I am a designer, usability evangelist and front end developer. When I am not working I can usually be found on the soccer pitch or trying to stand up on a surfboard on one of Australia's lovely beaches.
About
Originally coming from a creative background I have been working in the digital media industry for over 7 years. I specialise in designing and building websites which are both attractive and usable (yes, you can have both!) and I have worked for a variety of clients including Visa, Lighterlife, National Service Network, Aeroplane Jelly and the NHS. As well as design, HTML, CSS and jQuery I have built banners and interactive tools in Flash/Actionscript 2, and have worked with several content management systems including Sitecore, Reddot and Fatwire.

For anyone that doesn’t know what a five second test is, it is where you show a design for five seconds to someone who hasn’t seen the site before and get the person to answer questions about it.
